HOURLY WAGE - $19.53
The incumbent is a member of the Food and Beverage Administrative Team. The Coordinator, Food and Beverage, exemplifies our culture of creating revolutionary guest experiences and contributes positively toward uniting the team around purpose and fun. The purpose of this role is to provide general administrative support to the Food and Beverage Division, as well as our internal and external guests.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to create staff schedules using scheduling software.
- Develop Purchase Orders on behalf of departmental leaders, track invoices, and update managers on costs.
- Provide administrative support during meetings — take notes, prepare agendas, circulate agendas; create and distribute F&B-wide communications from the Division.
- Produce regular and on-demand reports, such as guarantee sheets, BEOs, absenteeism, labour costs, inventory, and weekly sales reports.
- Support leadership in investigating cash discrepancies, providing information for follow-up, and tracking MEO billing.
- Assist departmental managers and assistant managers with onboarding, time and attendance, scheduling, payroll, recipe creation, and other administrative duties daily.
- Assist with inventory management, including monthly counts, as required.
- Support onsite groups/guests as needed.
- Ensure compliance with standards and tactics of the business unit through training and coaching.
- Provide feedback to leadership for future planning.
- Understand departmental service standards and participate in training to create exceptional guest experiences and meet departmental goals.
- Utilize available resources and communication channels to maintain a productive and efficient environment.
- Participate in programming and training to foster employee engagement and team spirit.
- Adhere to all legislated requirements, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Follow Crisis Management plans as directed by the Crisis Committee and Risk Management Team.
WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?
- High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of internet software, Excel, Word; some knowledge of catering software (Delphi), digital signage, POS, and Workday Time and Attendance.
- Practical job-specific knowledge, receptive to feedback, with post-secondary education or equivalent experience, typically 2+ years (some exceptions may apply).
