Position: Coordinator, Creative Media

Location: Hybrid – Work 3 days per week in office at WWF-Canada Head Office in Toronto, Ontario

Department: Marketing & Communications (Marcom) - Marketing

Reporting to: Senior Manager, Brand & Marketing

Position Type: 1 Year Contract, Full-time

Starting Salary: $47,360 to $50,225 (commensurate upon related experience and skills)

Position Description

WWF-Canada is seeking a Creative Media Coordinator to support our video production team in managing assets, coordinating shoots, and creating compelling visual content that furthers our mission of conservation. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with a strong interest in video storytelling, content strategy, and creative production within an environmental nonprofit setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize, tag, and maintain WWF-Canada's growing library of video and photo assets within the new digital asset management system.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating video shoots (with occasional on-site attendance), liaise with contractors, internal teams, and conservation experts.
  • Edit and produce short-form videos for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc.) and campaign-related needs, to showcase WWF-Canada's work and engage younger demographics.
  • Support the planning and organization of video projects, including assisting with managing production timelines, shot lists, and deliverables.
  • Help coordinate project details between various internal departments to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Complete simple video edits, captions, and format content for various channels including website, social, internal communications, and presentations.

What We Are Looking For

  • Post-secondary education in film, media production, communications, digital arts, or a related field preferred, OR 2+ years of related experience.
  • Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar) for video editing.
  • Familiarity with organizing/tagging media assets in cloud-based storage or DAM platforms.
  • Understanding of short-form storytelling for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.
  • Proven ability to manage creative timelines and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Organized file handling and meticulous quality control in edits and content formatting.
  • Strong interest in WWF-Canada’s mission and using creative media to drive environmental awareness and action.

Other Information

  • Must be available to work in office a minimum of 3 days per week to manage digital assets.
  • Ability to work occasional evening and/or weekends to attend events or meetings.
  • Occasional local travel will be required.
