Position summary
The Coordinator, Canadian Cardiovascular Society Continuing Professional Development (CPD), provides administrative and operational support for a growing portfolio of continuing professional development activities at the Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS). This role supports the coordination of educational programming, assists with faculty and committee workflows, helps maintain accurate systems and records, and contributes to the timely, high-quality delivery of webinars, online learning, committee-supported initiatives, and accreditation-related activities.
The position plays a key role in strengthening internal capacity as CCS CPD continues to expand in volume, scope, and complexity, with a strong focus on process consistency, stakeholder service, and attention to detail.

This role works closely with CPD staff, committee chairs, faculty, communications staff, accreditation partners, finance, and other internal stakeholders at the Canadian Cardiovascular Society. The Coordinator is expected to build rapport with members and faculty while supporting operational follow-through, clarity, and consistency across activities, under the guidance of the CPD team.
Performance focus
Success in this role will be measured by timely and accurate execution of administrative tasks, responsiveness to stakeholders, strong data and document integrity, and reliable support of day-to-day CPD program operations.
