Position Summary
Northern Health is seeking an experienced, efficient, and self-directed Coordinator to support the Capital Projects department.
The Coordinator, Capital Projects, provides professional support for the operation of the UHNBC Tower portfolio. Responsibilities include data collection, requirements analysis, project monitoring and reporting, implementation, issues tracking, and developing capital plan processes and procedures. The role involves issuing Requests for Proposals, Quotations, and tenders, collaborating with external consultants on specifications and bid documents, posting tenders, and soliciting bids. The incumbent summarizes tenders and makes selection recommendations under professional guidance, coordinating project initiation, implementation, close-out, and evaluations with the site and consultants. Additionally, the Coordinator supports Project Managers in daily project administration and prepares monthly reports.
This position reports to the Chief Project Officer (UHNBC Tower) initially, then to the Alliance Team upon formation. The role is based at the UHNBC Tower Project Office in Prince George, BC.
The starting salary ranges approximately from $67,861 to $84,826, based on education, experience, and comparable positions.
