Job summary

Officeworks is seeking a Retail Department Leader (Coordinator) for our Cannington store. You will lead from the front, delivering exceptional customer experiences while guiding your team with energy, focus and a positive vibe.

You’ll mentor and train your crew, energise daily performance, and ensure the store is well presented, stocked and ready to meet customer needs. We offer flexible rostering and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Proven retail leadership experience with a passion for customer service.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced store environment.

About the role

As a Retail Department Leader, you will:

• Let your customer service skills shine by being a solutions expert. Go beyond transactions. Listen actively, understand customer needs, and confidently offer complete solutions that make their experience exceptional.
• Partner with the store leadership team to energize and motivate your crew. Help unlock their potential and drive performance by connecting daily actions to meaningful customer outcomes.
• Lead with purpose by mentoring and training your team. Share your knowledge, build their confidence, and guide them to become trusted retail rockstars who deliver real value to every customer.
• Keep the store looking sharp and well-stocked. Ensure every product is ready and available so customers can find exactly what they need, because the right solution starts with the right presentation.

When it comes to supporting our customers with the latest products, our passionate sales team are here to provide expert knowledge and advice to help them find the right solution to suit their needs.
