Job Details:
  • Duration: 8-month work term from September 2025 to April 2026.
  • Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Position Type: Onsite
Responsibilities:
  1. Review Engineering BOMs, 3D models, and quality specifications to translate product design intent into manufacturing processes.
  2. Use digital tools like NX, Visview, SAP, and Microsoft PowerPoint to create work instructions for assembling hydraulic, structural, and electrical components efficiently.
  3. Implement cost-effective tooling solutions for the Assembly, Paint, and Material Handling teams by sourcing purchased products or developing custom designs.
  4. Implement changes initiated by Safety, Quality, or Design improvements.
Skills Needed:
  1. Enrolled in an Engineering degree program.
  2. Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of 3D CAD.
  3. Basic understanding of manufacturing principles, reading engineering drawings, and BOMs.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Previous experience in manufacturing environments.
  2. Hands-on experience with machinery and power tools.
  3. Participation in extracurricular projects or teams.
  4. Understanding of materials and mechanical principles.
  5. Knowledge of current technologies in design projects.
  6. Strong technical problem-solving skills.
  7. Self-motivated researcher and learner.
Education:
  • Completed at least 2 years of University in Engineering.
