Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair cold drink equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical services.

  • Shift - One of the following:
    • Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm
    • Wednesday to Saturday 9:30am-8pm
    • Sunday to Wednesday 9:30am-8pm
  • Shift will be based on seniority
  • Hourly Rate - $28.68/hr during training
  • $30.59/hr after training
About This Opportunity

Coke Canada Bottling Cooler Service Field Technicians are the primary contact for maintenance, repair, and mechanical service on cold drink equipment for stores throughout a designated region.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field to keep it in proper operating condition
  • Maneuver equipment to perform all mechanical services on cold drink equipment, including preventative maintenance
  • Ensure vehicle has appropriate parts inventory by practicing Kaizen initiatives; this includes ordering supplies, conducting bi-annual inventory audits, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and organization
  • Maintain positive customer relationships
  • Prepare equipment according to company standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Communicate effectively to maintain positive customer relationships
Qualifications
  • Refrigeration or HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years of general technical experience
  • At least 1 year of refrigeration/HVAC experience
  • Plumbing and electro/mechanical experience
  • Diagnostic troubleshooting experience is an asset
  • Mechanical, technical, and electrical aptitude
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years
  • Ability to regularly bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
