This is an opportunity to teach children at a Summer Camp in New Hampshire with room and board fully provided.

Qualifications

Camp Walt Whitman (www.campwalt.com), a traditional children’s sleepaway camp in Piermont, New Hampshire, is seeking a cook to join our culinary team this summer. We are looking for cooks with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience in commercial/institutional large-quantity food production
  • Skills in preparing and cooking a wide range of quality foods from scratch
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • Willingness and ability to complete tasks including meal preparation, clean-up, kitchen maintenance, and inventory assistance
  • Strong professional references and ability to pass a background check
Details

Dates: June 12 to August 11

Salary: $750/week plus travel to camp, room, and board
