PARC Retirement Living is an award-winning developer and operator of independent senior-living communities. We are seeking a Cook1 to join our team at the Oceana PARC community in White Rock.

As a PARC Cook1, your responsibilities include:
  1. Creating an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests.
  2. Preparing and serving meals in a restaurant and bistro-style setting, adhering to proper food-handling procedures.
  3. Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and work area.
  4. Assisting with receiving and storing food deliveries.
  5. Preparing and serving residents at proper temperatures and appropriate portions.

  • You possess a culinary diploma or equivalent experience, with Food Safe Level 1 and WHMIS certifications.
  • You have a flair for creative food prep, with knowledge of portion control, menus, and commercial kitchen equipment.
  • You understand and respect the needs of seniors and their families, along with professional service providers.

At PARC Retirement Living, a Criminal Record Check and TB test within the first month of employment are required.
