Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Cook for a Long-Term Care residence in Toronto. You will ensure meals are prepared and served on time, while maintaining a safe, sanitary kitchen environment. You will review diet orders for new admissions and address resident or family concerns within your authority.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Cook in a supervisory role.
• Current provincial Safe Food Handling Certificate.
• A minimum of public-school education; high school preferred.
• Must have a diploma/certificate or equivalent in quality food preparation and production.

Responsibilities

What You Will Need • Prior experience as a Cook preferably in a supervisory capacity. • Current provincial Safe Food Handling Certificate. • A minimum of public-school education is required.
