The Opportunity:

The Cook role will serve the community of Points West Living Drayton Valley, Alberta! This role is responsible for ensuring top resident care, with a focus on time management and hospitality.

We are seeking candidates interested in:

Full-time Days with 1.0 FTE

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards

  • Support the Food Services Supervisor in supervising food service team activities
  • Resolve conflicts and problem-solve effectively
  • Monitor quality and participate in continuous improvement
  • Prioritize safety and psychological well-being of staff
  • Collect feedback from residents and families
  • Ensure adequate staffing for food services
  • Assist in scheduling and planning within budget guidelines
  • Participate in committees and meetings
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills and key deliverables that will take you further:

  • Food Safe Certificate is required
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR certificates required
  • Obtain a criminal record and vulnerable sector check prior to employment
