Responsibilities and Duties
  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
  • Modify menus or create new ones, if required, that meet quality standards
  • Rectify arising problems or complaints with respect to food quality and presentation
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with clients and coworkers
Qualifications
  • Successful candidate shall be able to work independently and maintain control of the kitchen
  • Proven working experience as a cook in a multi-residential setting with excellent record of kitchen management
  • Food Handler’s Certificate required
  • Capable of multi-tasking
  • Superb communication and leadership skills
  • Up to date with cooking trends and best practices
  • Proven team player with positive attitude and personality
  • Certification in culinary science would be an added advantage
