Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized culinary institute is an asset.
• Minimum of one year experience in food preparation.
• Active Food Safe certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification is an asset.
• Strong personal hygiene and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food using roasting, frying, grilling, steaming, poaching, boiling, and baking as directed.
• Assembles and organizes ingredients and equipment for food preparation.
• Cooks and seasons menu items to meet dietary needs and safety standards.
• Plans cooking schedule to produce food of optimal quality and nutritional value.
• Monitors and records temperatures to ensure proper food safety and sanitation.
