Job description

Position Summary

We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Cook to fill a Casual position at the Chetwynd General Hospital.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values and strategic priorities of Northern Health and working within the scope of Regional Northern Health (NH) Policies and Processes, the NH Regional Food Safety Plan and the NH Regional Food Sanitation Plan, this position performs duties related to the preparation and cooking of food items; portioning and serving food, washing and cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils and designated cooking/workstations. Responsible for assigning tasks to designated Food Service Workers.

About Chetwynd General Hospital

The hospital has 7 Long-term beds and 5 Acute Care beds. Services include emergency, medical inpatient, palliative care, and respiratory therapy.
