Job Title: Cook Helper (Casual)

Responsibilities

1. Set up breakfast and lunch services.
2. Prepare cooking ingredients following the chef manager's instructions.
3. Ensure smooth service operations and optimal use of food.
4. Maintain communication with team members.
5. Keep work area clean and adhere to health and food safety standards (MAPAQ standards and company policies).
6. Identify and date all food items properly.
7. Participate in additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years cooking experience, preferably in a cafeteria or restaurant setting.
• Grade XII education.
• Ability to lift pans of food, stock, and hot pans.
• Knowledge of operating food processors, meat slicers, convection ovens, steamers, fryers, grills, and knife skills.
• Must pass written and practical tests for this position.
• Experience with catering, Grab and Go, and baking is an asset.
