Join to apply for the COOK - Grill/Saucier Chef role at Magna Golf Club

Magna Golf Club, one of Canada's most exclusive private clubs located in Aurora, Ontario, is looking for (2) two Saucier/Grill Chefs to join our Culinary team.

If you have a deep passion for Culinary Arts, a positive attitude, and enjoy working with a goal-oriented team, we want to hear from you. The successful candidate will also have a desire to grow professionally and mentor within the Culinary team. This position is eligible for an additional year-end gratuity.

Required Skills
  • Extremely well organized and responsible with regards to mise en place and station setup.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in butchering large cuts of beef, whole fish, and poultry.
  • Experience preparing stocks, soups, sauces, and jus.
  • Efficient in prep work.
  • Familiar with rational ovens and induction equipment.
  • Responsible for daily station inventory.
  • Interest in contributing to daily specials, menu, and personal development.
  • Must maintain a well-kept, clean station at all times.
A Successful Candidate Will
  • Have a minimum of 2-3 years of previous culinary experience in a full-service restaurant or banquet facility.
  • Be dedicated to a high level and standard of food quality.
  • Be highly creative and motivated.
  • Have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Be an effective communicator and enjoy working in a team environment.
  • Be able to work well under pressure and independently.
  • Have flexible full-time availability; holiday, evening, and weekend shifts are required.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work.
