Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Cook to prepare food in accordance with corporate standards, guidelines and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times. The role requires proficiency in cooking methods and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities include pre-cooking, mise en place for high volume production, proper labeling and storage, and ensuring health and safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Proven cooking experience, including restaurant or prep cook.
• Food Safety Certification is an asset.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
