Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cook & Customer Service Associate to join our team at Grill Express. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both cooking and customer interaction. You will be responsible for preparing and serving authentic Mexican dishes (and some non-Mexican menu items), while also handling front-of-house responsibilities such as taking customer orders, operating the till, and managing third-party delivery apps like Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes, and DoorDash. A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, with a focus on traditional Mexican cuisine.
• Follow food preparation procedures and maintain kitchen safety and cleanliness standards.
• Take customer orders in-person and over the phone with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Operate the cash register/till and handle customer payments accurately.
• Manage and fulfill orders through third-party delivery platforms (Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes, DoorDash).
• Assist with dishwashing, general cleaning, and restaurant closing procedures as needed.
• Prep ingredients and assist in restocking supplies for daily operations.
• Maintain knowledge of the full menu, including dietary or ingredient-related questions.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve any concerns promptly and politely.
• Support other team members and contribute to a positive team environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
