Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a skilled Cook to prepare meals for residents, ensuring adherence to menu guidelines and safety standards. You will contribute to a warm dining experience while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in a busy kitchen.

Ideal candidates bring prior food service cooking experience, a valid Food Handler certification, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team, standing for long periods and lifting items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and plate food following Chartwell menu guidelines
• Comply with all public health regulations and safe food handling guidelines
• Maintain food preparation areas and equipment in a sanitary condition
• Ensure meals are prepared and served on time and at the correct temperature
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and storing food supplies
