Job description

This role will support the Head Chef in the kitchen by performing various tasks to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting kitchen operations. The position is vital for smooth kitchen functioning and overall success.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Food Preparation : Assisting with washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring ingredients, including preparing vegetables, meats, and other food items according to recipes and chef instructions.
  2. Dishwashing and Cleaning : Washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cleaning kitchen equipment and work areas to maintain hygiene.
  3. Stocking and Organization : Receiving and storing food and supplies, organizing ingredients, and maintaining stock levels.
  4. Supporting Cooks : Assisting with cooking tasks such as monitoring processes, stirring sauces, or plating dishes.
  5. Sanitation and Safety : Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, following sanitation protocols.
