Job summary

BaekJeong Korean BBQ House – Edmonton South is seeking full-time permanent cooks to join the team as soon as possible. The Edmonton location offers a busy restaurant setting with a wage of 19.00 to 36.00 CAD per hour, to be negotiated. 3 vacancies, permanent full-time 30 to 44 hours per week.

Start date as soon as possible. Vacation pay at 4 percent of total wages. Qualifications include English language, a secondary school certificate, and 2–3 years of cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Clean kitchen and work areas.
