  • Identify allergies on all meals where needed;
  • Ensure readiness of his/her section for service;
  • Maintain food freshness throughout service;
  • Restock stations at all times;
  • Clean kitchen floors regularly to ensure safety and cleanliness;
  • Assist with register operations during peak periods if required;

  • Maintain health and safety standards established by MAPAQ and the Chef;
  • Keep the kitchen clean and ready for the next day before leaving.
Qualifications:
  • College diploma in Professional Cooking;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen;
  • Certificate in safety and hygiene;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Innovative, proactive, and reliable;
  • Ability to work well under pressure;

  • Accuracy and speed are essential;
  • Low level of responsibility with limited consequences of decisions and actions;
  • Ability to listen, interact, and communicate clearly, precisely, and accurately on non-routine work aspects.

At GDI, you will be part of a growing organization that invests in its people and offers:

  • A comprehensive compensation package including performance bonuses;
  • Group retirement savings with employer matching;
  • Flexible group insurance with personalized coverage;
  • Employee discounts at Garage and Dynamite;
