Position: Cook

Location: Thompson, MB

Work setting: Restaurant (On-site)

Salary: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, 32 to 40 hours per week (to be negotiated)

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

Start date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • Prepare and cook meals and dishes
  • Prepare dishes for customers with allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in food preparation and handling
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
