Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking a Cook to support meal preparation and kitchen operations. Reporting to the Chef Manager, you will ensure proper, timely meals, food safety, and supervision of kitchen staff where applicable.

You will maintain a clean kitchen, prepare meals according to menu plans, and respond to client preferences while delivering outstanding guest service and adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Two years cooking experience.
• Food Handlers Certificate preferred.
• Team oriented with customer focus.
• Positive attitude.

Responsibilities

As a Cook, reporting to the Chef Manager, you will be responsible for the proper and timely preparation of meals including, but not limited to, food service, food safety and supervision of kitchen staff.

Your work will include:

• Always maintaining a clean kitchen and food storage areas .
• Prepare high quality, nutritious meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) according to the client scheduling and within the menu plan and budget guidelines.
• Be flexible and respond to client needs and food preferences as necessary.
• Service and provide exceptional customer service to our guests.
• Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety regulations and Safe Food Handling/Health Unit regulations.
• Mantinand clean kitchen equipment and food services spaces
• Maintain accurate, signed records of meals served.

Qualifications
