Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences in Nanaimo is seeking a friendly Cook to create meals that are nutritious, tasty, and comforting for residents. You’ll follow Chartwell menu guidelines, plate meals, and ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met in a well-equipped kitchen.

You’ll work as part of a collaborative team, wear PPE as required, and contribute to a warm, welcoming culture. Previous cooking experience and a valid Food Handler certificate help you thrive in this role, with

Additional Requirements

• Wear personal protective equipment as required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy items
• Manual dexterity to handle cooking tools and kitchen equipment
