The Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp, B.C. is looking for Casual Cooks to join their team! We are looking for team members with a flexible schedule who are available to work rotating day shifts (including weekends and holidays when required) and are willing to cross train into other food services roles such as Food Service Worker. The Casual shifts of this position include the following hours: 06:45 to 14:15.

Please Note: Casual work does not guarantee hours and get called for shifts on an as-needed basis.

This Cook position performs duties related to the preparation and cooking of food items; portioning and serving food, washing, and cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and designated cooking/workstations.

1. Graduation from a recognized 12-month program in quantity cooking or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
