Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Cook, where you will play a vital role in preparing nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. We are passionate about positively impacting the communities we serve and are looking for individuals committed to excellence and enhancing resident experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and supply ordering.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents, staff, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks and work around food and cleaning products.
• Completion of an approved sanitation and safety course may be required.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required based on local laws.
• Residency within the service area required.
