Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a Cook to create delicious meals for our residents, delivering nourishment and enjoyment in a warm, welcoming dining experience. You will follow Chartwell menu guidelines, maintain a clean kitchen, comply with health regulations, and work closely with a caring team to ensure on-time service and positive resident interactions.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, cook and plate food following Chartwell menu guidelines
• Comply with all public health regulations and safe food handling guidelines
• Maintain food preparation areas and equipment in a sanitary condition
• Ensure meals are prepared and served on time and at the correct temperature
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and storing food supplies

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy items
