Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences in Ontario is seeking a Cook to create delicious meals for residents, delivering a warm and welcoming dining experience while following Chartwell menu guidelines and safety standards.

You will work as part of a collaborative team, maintain sanitary prep areas, assist with ordering and stocking supplies, and contribute to a culture focused on making lives better for residents and staff.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, cook and plate food following Chartwell menu guidelines
• Comply with all public health regulations and safe food handling guidelines

• Ensure meals are prepared and served on time and at the correct temperature
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and storing food supplies

Additional Requirements

• Wear personal protective equipment as required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy items
• Manual dexterity to handle cooking tools and kitchen equipment
