• Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
• Determining portion sizes and estimating food costs.
• Inspecting kitchens and food service areas for cleanliness and quality standards.
• Training and supervising kitchen staff and helpers.
• Managing kitchen operations, maintaining inventory, and keeping records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensuring the kitchen and work areas are always clean and organized.
