Line Cook - Casual

If you thrive on being a part of a culinary team but wish you could retain creative freedom, and have a great work-life balance, we’d like to talk to you about joining Touchmark at Wedgewood as a Line Cook. We are currently looking for someone with a flexible schedule, seeking a few additional hours each week, and willing to work holidays and weekends as scheduled.

In this role, you will:

• Educate servers and residents about the secrets of each meal.
• Assist the Executive Chef in building a team dedicated to great food and relationships.
• Develop personal relationships and ensure team members understand all aspects of cooking, food preparation, and presentation.
• Maintain a passion for excellent food and outstanding hospitality to help our community stand out.

Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Attend Stand-Up and Culinary Planning Meetings.
• Hold self and others accountable for meeting Touchmark Gold Standards.
• Check kitchen sanitation and regulatory standards.
• Ensure production numbers are filled out regularly on provided templates.
• Follow all recipes, production sheets, and prep/pull sheets daily.
• Ensure food is cooked and served at appropriate temperatures, with temperature logs filled out.
• Respond quickly and effectively to customer needs and complaints.
