About SUSHI NAMI ROYLE Dartmouth Crossing

Sushi Nami Royale, committed to becoming the nation's top choice for exquisite Japanese sushi and ramen while prioritizing customer satisfaction, is currently seeking a skilled cook. The ideal candidate should have:

- Knowledge of sushi preparation and Japanese cuisine

- The ability to communicate effectively with team members and the head chef

- Strict adherence to all sanitation procedures and excellent physical condition

If you are passionate about Japanese cuisine and meet these requirements, we invite you to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering the finest dining experience.

- Assist in preparing and making various sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes based on guest orders.

- Manage food expenses, kitchen stock, energy usage, and sushi-making tools.

- Create and garnish sushi and sashimi dishes as they’re ordered, following traditional recipes and presentation guidelines.

- Handle special requests from guests, such as modifying ingredients or accommodating dietary restrictions.

- Keep track of daily inventory and place orders for fresh fish and other ingredients when necessary.

- Verify the quality and freshness of fish and other ingredients.

- Clean and sanitize the workstation, sushi bar, and kitchen area after each work period.

$16 per hour

Schedule:

Day shift
Night shift
Holidays
Weekend availability

Language:

Basic English oral communication ability is required.

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Additional skills / Assets:

Ability to communicate in Mandarin or Cantonese is preferred
