Responsibilities :

  • Communicating with management before shifts regarding daily menu needs, special functions, or events for the day
  • Ensuring the kitchen is ready for business before the restaurant opens (e.g., sanitizing work areas, stocking supplies, preparing raw ingredients)
  • Preparing food items to company standards while accommodating guests' special requests
  • Inspecting food orders to ensure proper presentation, portioning, and recipe adherence before serving to guests
