Job summary

Amica Mature Lifestyles Inc. at Amica Aurora Promenade is seeking a casual Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare daily meals from pre-determined menus and help maintain high standards of quality and presentation in a fine dining setting.

Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will contribute to a smooth kitchen operation while demonstrating flexibility to work a variety of shifts in a warm, inclusive environment that values exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Qualifications

• Food Handling Certificate is required.
• Minimum three years of progressive experience in a variety of dining environments.
• Previous hotel experience in a fine dining property is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily meal preparation from pre-determined menus.
• Ensure food quality and presentation meet fine dining standards.
• Contribute to smooth operation of the kitchen under the Sous Chef.

Under the direction of the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for daily meal preparation from pre-determined menus, ensuring food quality and presentation meets fine dining standards and contributes to the smooth operation of the kitchen.
