Job description

A company specializing in post-disaster investigation is seeking an Operations Support Coordinator for its Montreal office (Saint-Laurent borough). The organization works in the fields of applied engineering and chemistry, in partnership with major insurance companies.

  7. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, 8:30am to 4:30pm, or 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week)

Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
  1. Provide administrative and logistical support to experts
  2. Manage the identification, storage, tracking, and destruction of specimens according to established protocols
  3. Manage the garage and specialized equipment
  4. Maintain the inventory of material resources, make required purchases, and ensure their maintenance
  5. Coordinate building needs, including repairs and follow-ups with external suppliers
  6. Participate in supply management
  7. Carry out mail and parcel deliveries by courier
Qualifications
Desired profile
  1. Bilingualism, especially good written French
  2. DEC in administrative techniques, office automation, logistics, or equivalent training
  3. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (technical support, laboratory, industrial, or logistics environment)
  4. Fluency in spoken and written French, functional English
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  6. Excellent organizational skills, rigor, and autonomy
  7. Excellent attention to detail
  8. Versatility, speed of execution, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  9. Excellent communication skills
