Job Title: Conveyancer/Legal Assistant
Salary Range: $45,000 - $70,000

Location: Kelowna or willing to relocate to Kelowna at own expense

Job Description:
We are seeking a Conveyancer or Legal Assistant with a passion for building their career in conveyancing. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in real estate transactions, a client-focused approach, and a commitment to providing high-quality support in a professional legal setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide in-office conveyancing support with a reasonable file load.
  2. Manage real estate transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in document preparation and submission.
  3. Utilize software programs such as NetDocuments, Soluno, and Appara (or comparable programs) to manage files and complete tasks.
  4. Communicate effectively with clients, realtors, lenders, and team members to ensure smooth transaction processes.
  5. Maintain organization and attention to detail across multiple files and deadlines.
  6. Continuously learn and adapt to new technology, procedures, and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in conveyancing or legal assistance is an asset but not required.
  2. Familiarity with NetDocuments, Soluno, and Appara is helpful but not essential—training can be provided.
  3. Excellent client-focused communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  5. Comfort with multiple computer programs and a willingness to learn new systems.
  6. A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  7. Must be able to work on-site and be eligible to work in Canada.
