Job summary

Tempo Flexible Packaging is seeking a replacement for a role on the Canadian production floor. You will match samples and customer specs with first-off materials and conduct quality checks as part of a collaborative team.

You will review dockets, record errors, and use TORI for data entry while monitoring machine settings; stock and pack orders to support daily targets and safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials and first-off bags for quality.

About The Role:

What You'll Do:

• Match office samples, artwork, and customer specifications with first-off materials being made to perform quality checks on each bag, individually and as a team .
• Carefully review work dockets, accurately communicating and recording any errors to the Converting Supervisor in the communication book and statistical charts.
• Use TORI to enter data throughout your shift, while monitoring machine settings for accuracy and minor troubleshooting adjustments.
• Stock supplies, change rolls, zippers, valves, and etc. as required to support the department and organization's daily targets.
• Pack, organize, and prepare customer orders for shipment, making an impact in Canada's food industry.
• Protect the health and safety of yourself and others by performing safety circle checks on equipment, creating work orders to repair damaged equipment, and keeping common workstations and areas clean.
• Work as a team to overcome shift obstacles, exceed daily department targets and celebrate team successes.
• Promote Tempo's core values by working within all company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all Quality Management System (QMS) policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in any other duties required by the Converting Supervisor or Manager.

Schedule:

Our Flex‑Life Schedule is designed to give you more time off, without sacrificing full‑time pay

• 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• Rotating every 2 weeks days and nights (7:00am to 7:00pm AND 7:00pm to 7:00am)
• Work 36 hours per week, be eligible to be paid for 40 hours
• 16 days off a month!

Compensation:

• $19.00-$22.00 per hour
• Must be able to reliably commute to work – own transportation required.
