Job description

Client Industry: Healthcare IT

Contract Terms: 6 Months (3x 6 Month Extensions Available)
Hours: Full Time (37.5 Hours / week)
Start Date: ASAP
Estimated End Date: 6 Months after Start Date
Work Location: Remote - BC (Canada). Candidates must be willing and able to work PST Hours for the duration of the Contract. May be asked to come in Office in Burnaby, BC in the future.
Project Description:
The Client Technology Services Department is working on setting up additional monitoring for our Citrix/Remote Application environment. As part of this, we are in the midst of an application implementation of the ControlUp 8 software solution. This resource is to own/assist in the buildout of the environment and enabling department requirements.

Services Required:

  • Gather requirements from stakeholders
  • Implement/build out the ControlUp 8 environment
  • Provide System Administrator functions for this and other applications within the Technology Applications service tower
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Provincial Manager, Technology Applications

Specific Qualifications or Experience Required:

  • Must have experience in configuration/administration of server monitoring tools
  • BC Health Care experience is a nice-to-have
  • ControlUp 8 experience is a nice-to-have
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Must be located in the Province of British Columbia

Constraints and Special Considerations:
While the position is based out of Burnaby, the Client is currently in a work-from-home policy due to COVID-19. Any change in this direction within the Client may require the resource to come on-site. Any travel expenses will not be reimbursed.
All Proposed Consultants must be based in BC.
