Job summary

A leading company in energy solutions is seeking a Controls Engineer to develop software for HVAC systems. The successful candidate will be involved in project management, programming DDC systems, and generating technical drawings. This role requires a solid foundation in controls and HVAC systems with practical experience in installations and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of controls related to HVAC & R system.
• Proficiency in English required for reading specifications and communication.
• Own transport for travelling to job sites for startup and testing.

Responsibilities

• Write software programs according to sequence of operations as per plan and specifications.
• Generate controls drawings and electrical power drawing/circuits.
• Support during unit installation, testing, and commissioning.

Skills

Knowledge of Sequence of Operations for Heating, Cooling, Heat Recovery & Dehumidification Equipment

Ability to generate AutoCAD Drawing for Electrical Panels

Knowledge of BACnet and Modbus

Project management skills

Job description

Having experience or skill in programming DDC (Direct Digital Control) Eelctronic Controller as well as Electro Mechanical Control for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Equipment.

Write software program according to sequence of operations as per plan and specifications, generate controls drawings, electrical power drawing /circuits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Sequence of Operations for Heating, Cooling, Heat Recovery & Dehumidification Equipment.
• Ability to generate AutoCAD Drawing for Electrical Panels as well as Control Schematic Drawing.
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus and Ability to generate P&ID, sequences of operations, drawings, bill of materials. Develop programming, graphics and sequences of operations for DDC systems.
• Project management including problem solving and support during unit installation, testing and commissioning.
• Knowledge of the operation of air handling units including fans, variable frequency drives (VFD), Actuators, temperature, Humidity & pressure sensors and control devices including compressors.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD drawing software, experience in start up, Proficiency in English (reading specifications, communications, etc.) is required.
• Experience in trouble shooting, diagnostics, Testing and Commissioning of the equipment at client Job Site.
• Successful Candidate to have own transport for travelling to job site for start up, testing and commissioning of the equipment.
• College/Education in instrumentation and controls with minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of controls related to HVAC & R system.
