Job summary

CEC Controls Company seeks a Controls Engineer/Technologist 2 to lead portions of design and commissioning tasks, troubleshoot complex automation issues, and help maintain project timelines and customer satisfaction.

In a collaborative, hybrid work environment with some travel to automotive plants, you will apply PLC and HMI programming, design hardware panels, and ensure safety and PPE standards across projects.

The Controls Engineer/Technologist 2 leads portions of design and commissioning tasks, troubleshoot complex automation issues, and contribute to maintaining project timelines and customer satisfaction.

• Applies PLC programming with a strong level of proficiency.
• Capable of supporting and developing general HMI programming solutions.
• Possesses proficient knowledge of VFDs, servo systems, and drive controllers.

Current Hours And Starting Time

• Full Time, 40 hours per week.
• Overtime may be needed.
• Currently Hybrid Work Environment- which includes some travel and time in automotive plants.
