Qualifications

• Develop and support hardware panel designs.

• Support general HMI programming efforts.
• Maintain knowledge of VFDs, servo systems, and drive controllers.
• Follow PPE requirements and safety practices.

The Controls Engineer/Technologist 1 executes technical assignments with increasing autonomy, delivering reliable hardware and software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Demonstrates strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Project)

• Capable of developing and supporting hardware panel designs.
• Applies PLC programming skills in standard applications.
• Capable of supporting general HMI programming efforts.
• Maintains working knowledge of VFDs, servo systems, and drive controllers.

Current Hours and Starting Time

• Full Time, 40 hours per week.
• Overtime may be needed.
• Currently Hybrid Work Environment- which includes some time in automotive plants.
