About the Opportunity
- Oversee and manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, including account reconciliations and Blackline preparation/review.
- Contribute to planning and implementation of revised financial organization structure.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of NetSuite, including system configuration, data migration, reporting, and user training.
- Develop and implement robust financial controls and scalable processes to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and governance.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of a revised financial organization structure and team build-out (e.g., hire General Accountant in 2025).
- Monitor and manage working capital to optimize cash flow and ensure the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations.
- Manage and reconcile intercompany balances, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee payroll-related accounting entries, validate bonus settlements, and support compensation reporting, including US wellness benefits tracking.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and support for financial initiatives.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts (QSR) and analyze variances against actuals.
- Approve accounts payable entries, oversee accounts receivable aging and reporting, and ensure accurate intercompany and expense allocations.
- Own revenue recognition processes, including rev rec checklists, WIP reconciliation and aging analysis, and quarterly WIP disclosures.
- Lead internal and external audits, maintain compliance documentation (e.g., RCM matrix, AIF), and oversee lease accounting and OpenAir governance.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline finance operations and increase team efficiency.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management to finance team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Handle ad hoc requests from the Finance Director and GM of MoD.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and its application in financial reporting and compliance
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on month-end reporting, financial systems implementation, and working capital management.
Salary Range
$120,000 - $135,000 / year
