RS Breakers & Controls is looking for a talented and experienced Controller to lead the financial operations of our growing business. As a key member of our team, you’ll oversee accounting functions, ensure compliance with interprovincial tax regulations, and drive efficiencies in financial processes. This role is ideal for a proactive, entrepreneurial leader with expertise in ERP implementation and a passion for optimizing financial systems.

What You’ll Do

1. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering growth and operational excellence.
2. Oversee all accounting operations, including compliance with interprovincial tax regulations and payroll requirements.
3. Drive the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, streamlining financial workflows for efficiency.
4. Prepare accurate financial reports, develop KPIs, and provide actionable insights to support strategic goals.
5. Collaborate with leadership on growth strategies, including mergers and acquisitions.

What You’ll Bring

1. CPA designation with 8+ years of full-cycle accounting experience in small to medium-sized businesses.
2. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI, and Dynamics CRM.
3. Expertise in interprovincial tax compliance and payroll regulations.
4. Hands-on experience implementing ERP systems and training others on their use.
5. Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
6. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Additional Details
This hybrid role is based in Mississauga, ON, requiring 3–5 days on-site during the first three months. Occasional travel may be needed. Familiarity with Canadian tax laws and interprovincial financial nuances is essential.
