Controller Consultant

Overview:

Our client in themanufacturing industry, is seeking a Controller to join their team on a contract basis. This role is designed to provide financial leadership. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual with a solid background in accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Month-End Closing: Oversee and review the month-end closing process with support from the Senior Accounting Manager, and Senior Accountant.
• Financial Review: Assist in the preparation and review of monthly financial statements.
• Business Unit Coordination: Collaborate with Commercial Finance, Operations Finance, and Accounting units.
• Year-End Support: Provide essential support for the year-end audit process.
• Cash Flow Management: Understand and assist with cash flow management.
• Manufacturing/Inventory Experience: While not required, experience in manufacturing/inventory accounting is highly desired.

• Proven experience in managing month-end closing processes.
• Familiarity with year-end audit support.
• Strong understanding of cash flow management.
• Excellent coordination skills with different business units.
• Experience with manufacturing/inventory accounting is a plus.
• Knowledge of accounting software, such as SAP, is desirable but not required.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
