ENWIN Utilities Ltd. is currently accepting applications for the vacant position of:

Controller

Location: Windsor, ON (Hybrid)

Reporting to the Director, Finance, the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the monthly financial statements through review and analysis for Windsor Utilities Commission (WUC) and the ENWIN group of companies, as prepared by Financial Analysts. The Controller completes and supplements financial reporting packages for review by the Director of Finance and the Executive team.

This role involves managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash, and other financial assets, ensuring compliance with government agencies, tax authorities, and IFRS standards. The Controller reviews financial results with operating directors and executive staff to support decision-making, prepares and reviews annual budgets, and presents results to the executive team. The position also provides leadership and support to the finance team and collaborates with peers across departments.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• University Degree in Business with a focus on Accounting and at least three (3) years of relevant experience; or a College diploma in Accounting with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Professional accounting designation (CA/CMA/CGA/CPA).
• Experience with various computer systems including Microsoft Office and ERP environments.
• Experience managing a team of professionals.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range: $146,466 - $162,740
