Base pay range

CA$100,000.00/yr - CA$120,000.00/yr

Our client, a longstanding company and a leader in their industry, is looking for a Controller to join their dynamic team. As the Controller, you will use your existing industry knowledge and can-do attitude to lead and oversee the financial operations of the company’s property management division. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Compile, analyze, review and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial results
2. Prepare and present financial and management reports, and provide detailed analysis to support decision making
3. Identify and manage opportunities to improve and strengthen processes
4. Lead the annual budgeting process, and work closely with relevant stakeholders
5. Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to a team of direct reports
6. Oversee the lease administration process and liaise with the legal and compliance teams

Qualifications

The main qualifications for this role include:

1. Formal accounting education
2. Minimum of 5 – 7 years of progressive experience
3. Previous supervisory experience

1. $100,000 – $120,000 salary range
