Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
2. Ensure compliance with GAAP, taxation requirements, and payroll regulations.
3. Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, including full monthly reporting.
4. Manage cash flow and financial planning.
5. Handle corporate tax filings, HST, and government remittances.
6. Reconcile financial transactions and perform data analysis on a high volume of job-related data.
7. Lead, plan, and build for the future of the finance function.

Qualifications:

• CPA designation is required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
• Experience with cash flow management.
• Ability to analyze data from a high volume of jobs.
• Experience with Jobber, Smartsheets, and QuickBooks is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach.
