Tricycle Lane Ranches Ltd. (TLR) has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Weekend Night - Control Centre Operator in our Operations Control Centre (OCC). TLR is the 27-year-old Property Management and Land Acquisition business for its sister company BURNCO Rock Products Ltd (BURNCO), a 112-year-old, international construction materials business.

Mostly a desk-based position in our technologically advanced OCC, located in our newly renovated corporate offices conveniently by McKnight Blvd and Deerfoot Trail, near Calgary's airport. In this important part-time role, you will remotely monitor our safety and security at sites in western Canada and the USA. You'll be asked to work twelve hour shifts weekend nights (Saturday & Sunday - 19:00 to 07:00).

Requirements

What You Will Be Doing

1. Provide support as required to our Operations' Control Centre (OCC) team
2. Monitor our CCTV feeds in the OCC
3. Help to create or update our documentation
4. Report security system alarms, and communicate with operations' leaders and first responders
5. Dispatch security officers and/or other first responders to our sites and monitor active incidents to conclusion including generating reporting for follow up actions
6. Oversee our site security personnel to ensure they are acting according to our protocols
7. Conduct building tours of our office to assure security and report on any encountered safety or building maintenance matters
8. Print, deliver and manage access cards for end users according to our protocol
9. Monitor weather events and media events and report on them where they may affect the safety of our employees or our property
10. Update and create spreadsheets to track data
11. Other tasks as assigned
