Job description

Visy is powering the circular economy closing the loop between packaging recycling and remanufacturing. We believe materials are not truly recycled until theyre made into something newand it all starts with Visy Recycling. As Australias largest recycler our extensive network of recycling operations is integrated with our manufacturing sites. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper cardboard glass plastics and metals from households and businesses and locally remanufacture them back into new sustainable packaging.

Were looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Contracts and Tender Coordinator to support our team at Visy Recycling. Based in either Tullamarine or Alexandria youll play a key role in managing the administration of local government and major commercial contracts.

In this role youll be responsible for maintaining our contract database preparing monthly reports calculating pricing adjustments and ensuring all documentation is accurately processed in SAP. Youll also coordinate tender submissions and collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet critical deadlines.

Reporting to the National Commercial Manager your key responsibilities will include :

  • Maintain and update contracts in the CMS system.
  • Set reminders for key contract milestones and pricing reviews.
  • Prepare monthly reports for Local Government contracts.
  • Manage account setup and invoicing tasks for Local Government clients.
  • Conduct monthly pricing reviews and maintain pricing data in SAP and Appian.
  • Review approve and load pricing deals in Appian.
  • Support tender submissions for commercial and government clients.
  • Generate monthly reports for national accounts including some manual invoicing.
  • Assist with drafting and updating customer supply agreements.
  • Compile monthly market insights and create presentation materials.

What youll bring

  • A proven ability to work independently with excellent time management and prioritisation skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence engaging across all levels of the organisation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail especially when handling administrative and reporting tasks.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role ideally within a commercial or government contract environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Word and Excel.
  • Experience with SAP and CRM systems is highly desirable
