We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to manage Government Contracts and Subcontracts, ensuring compliance, efficient contract administration, and effective vendor relationships. This role is essential for managing our contractual obligations and aligning contractual terms with corporate goals.
This role will be based out of our corporate offices in Chantilly, VA; Virginia Beach, VA; California, MD; Beavercreek, OH; or Washington, DC in a hybrid capacity.
What will you do?
- Negotiate, administer, and oversee the execution of contracts and subcontracts.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and government regulations.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions.
- Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in line with company policies.
- Contribute to the development of new business strategies involving complex contractual arrangements as part of the leadership team.
- Provide guidance on contract matters to project managers and operational staff, including training new employees in contract management practices.
- Resolve conflicts and disputes related to contractual agreements.
- Conduct regular reviews of contract performance and recommend improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Federal industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive knowledge of all contract types, including CPFF, CPIF, CPAF, FPI, FFP, T&M, L-H, and ID/IQ, in single and multiple award environments.
- Contract certifications such as Certified Federal Contracts Manager or Certified Professional Contracts Manager are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP systems like Deltek CostPoint and CRM preferred.
- Thorough understanding of FAR, DFARs, U.C.C., U.S.C, ITAR, and other relevant laws and regulations, including the Service Contract Act and Davis Bacon Act.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and analyze complex issues.
- Security clearance: DoD Secret required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
